One of my favorite thing about Christmas time is hearing from all of our friends and family. Thanks to everyone who sent us Christmas cards! Every year I display them on my kitchen door and always have so much fun looking at them!

Oh look...it's me! It's sad, the only way to get a picture of myself is taking one of myself. Everyone else rather not mess with pictures and cameras! oh well.

Brooke LOVED tubing and HAD to go all by herself. She's such a big girl and has no fear,
(unlike her mother)--I love it!

December in Review

Jay was in his school play and was actually one of the main characters. He's the one standing in the red shirt singing with hands in pockets. He even had a small solo! He did great!

Jay--far right with arms folded.
Brooke was a sheep on her pre-school nativity scene. This costume makes up for her not so great Halloween costume.

The Sunday before Christmas everybody got together at my parents home for a small program and to open the gifts my parents had bought for the grand kids. The next day my parents left for there mission to Sweden.

The kids and I made a ginger bread tree. (I prefer the gingerbread houses but couldn't find one)
Christmas Eve we all went out for Sushi--YUMMMMY!!!
After Sushi we decorated cookies for Santa.

New Christmas PJ's for the kids!
Can you see the movie on the wall? We had our own personal viewing of "Transformers"(Boys choice) Watching movies on a huge wall is always fun!

Finally, by 11:45 pm all the kids were sound asleep and Santa came! See the gerbil cage?
Merry Christmas!!!!!!The next day we celebrated Dan's birthday at his mom's house. She fixed a Turkey dinner with all the trimmings!

Dan's mom made blankets for the kids and they loved them! Thanks for the blankets mom Miner!

The day after Thanksgiving we invited my brothers 3 girls over for a sleep over. Dan set the 6 man tent up in the great room next to the Christmas tree. It was pretty cool and the kids had a lot of fun.

This picture is hard to see but that is Jay on the left and Brooke is in the pink standing up in the back.
My parents had their Missionary Farewell last Sunday. They are going to serve in the Stockholm Temple in Sweden!

Finally...Pumpkins & Halloween

This year we let Jay carve his own pumpkin. I have to say that I was pretty nervious about him doing this, but he enden up doing a great job, oh, and he still has 10 fingers!
Me and Bradley.

For some reason I just couldn't get in the mood for Halloween this year. Maybe next year I will go all out and make something really cute for Brooke--sorry boys, your stuck with ordering on-line or Target! :)Some of you might be wondering, whats up with the get well balloons? All I have to say is that you have NO idea! Bradley and Brooke were very sick with Swine Flu. Actually, It's been a week to the day that Brooke came down with it and she is still running a fever. I took her to the doc. today, (after going 3 times last week) and she has come down with a secondary infection and is on a heavy antibiotic. It is so sad to see her this way. Bradley is feeling a lot better after having a high fever for 6 days. Jay has a horrible cough and has had no major fevers, (knock on wood) Dan came down with a cold on Wednesday but is doing a lot better. That is such a blessing because he has so much work to do. I have a little soar throat but feel really good considering the lack of sleep and being Doc. mom. Thank you Suzy for the very cute balloons!
