The last day we rafted down the Green River. Well, everyone except for Brooke and I. I didn't know how bad the rapids were going to be and I was nervous about taking her. After, Dan told me that Brooke would have been just fine. I'm bumbed that I didn't take her, but we will diffidently go back soon and raft it.

Flaming Gorge!!!!!!
Dan and the kids and I went camping up at Flaming Gorge with his very fun cousins the Avery's for a couple of nights. I'm not really into camping, but I I have to say, this was a really fun trip!
The first night there we went swimming by our camping area. You had to climb down some rocks to get to the water. Not the the friendliest place for small kids but they still had fun climbing on the rocks and getting their legs wet. It was very pretty.

The next day we went to a really nice sandy area for Brooke to play in and we also rented a boat. Dan and his cousins had a lot of fun wake boarding and knee boarding. We bought a big tube before the trip so that the kids could get pulled by the boat. Jay and Brad LOVED this! They couldn't stop laughing while they were getting pulled.

This is wear we camped. Jay and Brad's tent is on the right.

This is Jay and Brad with Dan's cousin Emily.

Fun trip! Seeing the makes me want to try camping again...I'm more like you and am not so into the whole camping thing.
Joy, I'm impressed, I never knew you were a camper. Can you teach me how to enjoy it?
Camping? As in sleeping on the ground? With bugs and all of those other icky things? Hmmm. But then again, a few days at Flaming Gorge sounds like fun, but I think I would need to look for the cheap motel.
