Well, school has started again! This is such an exciting time of year for me. This picture was taken last week right
before Jay got on the bus for his first day of
2nd grade!!!!
This is Bradley on his first day of Kindergarten. The bus came 10 min. early so I rushed him out the door and
unfortunately this was the only picture I could get of him.
OK, so a few days ago I made my first ever home made pie. It was
DELICIOUS!!!! (Even ask Dan)
I've done pies where you throw the
ingredients into an already made pie crust, but not this time! I had so much fun and I have to say that I was really proud of myself. Just for your info, it's a lemon pie.
I took the kids to
Kennecott's Bingham Canyon Mine and they really had a good time. I would
diffidently recommend this to anyone who is looking for something different and exciting to do with their kids. (It's only $5 per car to get in)

Sunday, my sister Suzy and her 2 kids Aaron and Kate came up with us to the canyons to roast some Hot dogs and
Smore's. We all had a fun time. It was so beautiful and
peaceful up there. There was a small river that ran behind that the kids had fun playing in. Aaron
caught a small (very small) fish and we also saw a snake.

Looks like life is great in Utah. It's nice that you are all nearby each other for get togethers. Your pie looked great! There's no way you could not be a great cook/baker- you have your mother's genes!
Fun fun. Your kids are getting so big! 2nd grade, that is crazy. Good job on the pie, I love making pies too. Looking at those pictures up the canyon make me miss the mountains like crazy, there is no place remotely like that out here, just lots and lots of fields.
Wow, you've had a busy, fun-filled summer. I loved looking at your pictures of Maine (except the one of me in my bathing suit). :) Duncan and I sure enjoyed our time there with everyone. And by the way, your pie looks great! I'm sure it was delicious! And your Brooke is so cute!
Very impressed by the pie! I still haven't ever made one on my own! Brooke is looking like such a big girl and I can't believe you have a kid in 2nd grade...time flies!
