This past weekend we drove up to
Las Vegas to pick up a boat Dan had bought! Here is our new fun toy! We decided that we might as well take advantage of the the warm weather in
Las Vegas and spend a night on Lake Mead. The water was so warm and the weather was BEAUTIFUL!!!
We found a really cool private beach where we set up our tents. The water was shallow for a good 15 to 20 feet with really nice soft sand throughout. It was perfect for the kids.

snorkeling gear. They had a lot of fun with that.

The kids had a lot of fun with the tube. We also bought a knee board and wake board in
Orem before we left for Vegas. This was the first time I had driven a boat and even Dan said he was impressed.

degrees late in the night and about 99 during the day. It was so
peaceful and relaxing. Having the water just a step away was so neat.

What a great way to end the summer! The water looks so refreshing and peaceful. Looks like you'll have alot of wonderful family memories in the days to come.
