Halloween!! (and playing catch-up)

Despite the fact that Dan and I had a cold, (that we got from receiving the flu shot) and the weather being a little rainy, we still had a good Halloween, especially the kids.

The night before Halloween we carved our pumpkins. Bradley was worried about getting his sleeves dirty when pulling out the seeds so he took his shirt off.

This is a picture of our trees that I took a few weeks ago. Fall is such an exciting time with all of the trees changing colors.
My 3 kids enjoying some beautiful weather out in the back yard.

I don't know where Jay got the idea of doing the peace sign when ever I take a picture of him.

Brooke LOVES horses! It's a good thing that we are surrounded by them!

As a lot of you know I use to play the drums in the Timpview Marching Band. My mom and I had the opportunity to see them perform at BYU a few weeks ago along with my kids and Suzy's kids. It brought back such wonderful memories. This is an experience that I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to be apart of. It taught me self discipline, respect, teamwork, pride,(witch is not always a bad thing) patience and most of all, love for music. As I was watching them perform I thought of my parents who were always there cheering me on and supporting me. They were always such a great example to me that I want to make sure that I am always there for my kids, cheering them on in everything that they do. It makes a child or teenager feel so special and loved. So thank you Mom and Dad for always being my number one fan and ALWAYS being there with me to share in my joy! I love you!

Happy Halloween. I hope you had a speedy recovery. I feel for ya. Brooke looks all grown up in her little tutu and crown thingy (I don't know the lingo) Thats neat that you were able to go see the band. I'm sure it brought back lots of great memories.

Your kids are getting so big! Brooke looks so cute as a princess. That is funny that Bradley took off his shirt to carve pumkins. Kids are so funny about things, I love it. Miss you!

What beautiful photos! I love the color of the trees, your kids' blue eyes, and the football game-marching band pics. They capture the feelings of fall!
