I know it's been awhile since I have posted but it has been really busy over at our place. Dan had surgery 2 days before Thanksgiving, don't worry everything went great and he is doing just fine. The day after Thanksgiving Disney showed up to start recording a Theme song for Disney Japan and will be here until late Friday night. These are 18 hour days for Dan. I don't see how he does it. Anyway, Our tree is up and I am in the baking mood! I wanted to share this really YUMMY and easy recipe with you.
White Peach Crisp
Filling
4 large Kingsburg white peaches ( I used whatever the store had)
1-2 teaspoons ground Cinnamon
3 Tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 C. water
Topping
1 stick butter
3/4 flour
2/3 C. sugar
Sprinkles of brown sugar and cinnamon
Preheat oven to 375
To prepare filling, wash, peel and slice peaches. Place in a buttered 9x9 inch baking dish and sprinkle Cinnamon and brown sugar on top. Pour 1/2 C. water over peaches.
To prepare the topping, cut cold butter into the flour and sugar. (This mixture should be grainy and chunky) Cover the peach with this mixture. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnimon to taste. Bake for about 50 min, or until topping is golden brown.

Sounds delicious! I'm going to post it on my recipe blog (if you don't mind). Looks like you have your mom's talent in the kitchen and her mothering skills as well. Love ya!

Merry Christmas Carlisle family!!!! Sorry we aren't there to help celebrate in the Christmas cheer. But we hope that you are enjoying the holiday and that Santa was generous. Love Danny.
