Draper Temple and George Washington

My mom bought tickets for the WHOLE family to go to the Draper Temple Open House. I always LOVE being with my family so as always, a good time was had by all. The following pictures are of all of us getting bussed up to the Temple.
We figured It would be almost impossible to get seated at a restaurant on a Sat. night with 15 people in our group, so after seeing the beautiful Temple everyone came to my place for some pizza. Thanks mom for putting this together for us!!

Jay had a book report due on George Washington. Part of the assignment was to dress up as him or make a puppet of him. He wanted to dress up, so after days of thinking of what to do and not wanting to spend much money, I thought of gluing cotton balls on a shower cap to resemble George Washington's hair. I have to say it turned out pretty well. I still laugh every time I see these pictures. Jay said everyone cracked up when he walked into his classroom with it on and that everyone loved it.

Isn't that funny!!!!!!!!!!!

Great idea of the shower cap wig. So creative! I'll have to remember that for the future. What a nice family outing to the temple. Your mom is so great at organizing activities for the family. What a blessing that you all live near each other.

You had to buy tickets to the temple open house? That seems kind of odd. Sounds like you guys had a fun time. I love the wig on Jay!
