Summer

I would say our garden is doing pretty well, wouldn't you?? I can't believe how fast these things grow! Let's just say that I have had it up to my head in Zucchini bread!!!

Jay is standing next to some corn that we planted. The tall one is one that he started growing in school just from a seed.
We went to Seven Peaks with my sister and her kids. Brooke had so much fun going down the big tube rides. she kept saying, "just one more time" after each run. At first she insisted that she go down by herself. She defiantly has her fathers jeans.

I wanted to show you the yellow slide in this picture. My nephew Aaron and his sister Kate and my son Jay LOVED going down this. They finally convinced me to go down it and I have no need to do it again. I actually did it about 10 years ago with my brother Dan. Wow time flies!

We have been doing swimming lessons at a neighbors pool for 3 years now and I LOVE it. It beats the public pool by far. The classes are small and a lot more one on one attention. This lady has 7 kids and 5 grand kids. She has been teaching pre-school for 15 years and is a WONDERFUL person! All of her kids are and were on the swim team and the 3 younger ones, and the mom, teach swimming lessons. Any way this is Bradley.

Don't worry, Brooke is ok. You will find her doing the dead mans float 50% of the time when ever she is in the pool. The other 50% she is going down slides or going off the diving board. She can actually hold her breath longer then Bradley in the water. It is so funny when I take her to the public pool and she does this. People will just stare at her, including the life guards, to make sure that she is ok and not drowning.

Brooks teacher said that she has never had anyone so relaxed in the pool as Brooke is.
Can you believe school starts in less then 2 weeks?? Hope you all had a good summer!

How Fun!! I wish my garden was doing that well. I haven't had a good garden sice I have moved to Kansas, They say the gardens out here are better, but I think it is a lie, maybe it is just me.

I love all the swimming pictures. I can't beleive that Brooke does so well with swimming at her age, that is awesome! I wish my kids id as well in the pool, they are total wimps.

Yeah, you will need to make bread out of those zuchini's. Once they get past a certain size the table value seems to go down. Are you sure it was ten years ago that we went to Seven Peaks? Hmmmm. I was a lot younger then...

Cheers!
